How do I place an order?

When you order by phone, fax, or email, please quote your account number and if possible our part number. See our catalogue or the online store for part numbers. If you're not sure, our sales staff will be happy to assist you.
Please note, retail customers can only shop online.
How to order online
Retail customers can simply go to the product pages and start adding items to the shopping cart. Wholesale customers must login to obtain wholesale prices. The minimum order for retail and wholesale customers is $40.00.
Finding a product
To browse for a product, simply click on the appropriate category in the tabbed menu at the top of the page (e.g. 'mechanical seals'). A list of products will appear, or if applicable a list of sub-categories (e.g. Type 6E, Type 7E, and Type 21E mechancial seals). Simply click on the sub-category, or on the products, for further details.
To search for a product, simply use the search box that appears on any page in our website. You can search on our part number (e.g. 'S66'), or on a keyword (e.g. '3/4" mechanical seal').
If you can't find what you're looking for, give us a call and one of our sales staff will be happy to help.
Wholesale prices
Our wholesale prices are available to approved customers. See below for information on become an approved wholesale customer. (Wholesale customers must login to buy online at wholesale prices - see below for information on obtaining a login.) The minimum wholesale order is $40.00.
Become an approved wholesale customer
To become an approved wholesale customer, please download and complete the account application form, and fax it to 02 6652 7676. We will contact you once your application is processed. Approval time is generally 2 - 3 working days, however, this depends on the trade references you supply. You can apply for a cash or a credit account (see below for details).
Retail prices
If you're a retail customer, you'll find our retail prices are very competitive. Our online store displays retail prices, unless you login. (Login is only available for approved wholesale customers.) Retail customers must pay for goods before we can ship them. Please note, retail customers can shop online but we are unable to accept retail orders by phone, fax, or email. If you are a retail customer, when you get to the checkout in our online store, you can elect to pay with credit card by phone or fax, or direct deposit (see below for further information). Once we have received your payment we will immediately ship your order. The minimum order is still $40.00 for retail customers. Please note, the retail prices displayed do not include 10% GST. See below for further details.
Login
In order to view wholesale prices online you need to login. This is available to approved wholesale customers. If you do not login you will only be able to see retail prices. See below for details on how to obtain a username and password so you can login.
Obtain login - existing customer
If you are already an approved wholesale customer at Equity Engineering Supply Co (i.e. you already purchase goods from us on a 30 day credit account, or you have a cash account) click here to request a login and start buying online at wholesale prices.
Obtain login - new customer
First, you must become an approved wholesale customer - see above for details. You may establish a credit account or a cash account. once you applicaiton is finalised we will send you a login so you can purchase online.

Cash accounts
Approved wholesale customers may hold either a cash account or a credit account. If you apply for a cash account, you do not need to provide trade references, however you will need to pay for goods before we can ship them. You will be able to pay by cheque, credit card or direct deposit. (If you are purchasing online we offer payment by credit card or direct deposit, but not by cheque.) Once we have received your payment we will ship your order.
Credit accounts
Approved wholesale customers may hold either a cash account or a credit account. Credit account holders have 30 days to pay their invoice. To become a credit account holder you will need to provide trade references when you apply. See below for further details of our credit policy.
Credit policy
- Payment is due 30 days after the date of invoice, unless other terms have been agreed.
- Your payments are automatically applied to the oldest invoice first. If by mistake you pay later invoices first this will cause part payment of invoices and may make it more difficult to reconcile your account.
- All accounts which exceed 60 days are automatically placed on 'CREDIT HOLD', and no goods can be sent until all invoices over 60 days are paid.
- If an account exceeds 90 days, any new order will have to be prepaid, in addition to full payment of all outstanding invoices. Only then will the 30 day cradit facility be reinstated.
- If an account exceeds 90 days more than twice in one tax year, the credit account will be suspended and terms of trade will be 'CASH ONLY'.
- All goods remain, in title, the property of Equity Engineering Supply Co, until all payments and charges in respect of the goods have been made in full.
Obtain a quote

Special Prices/Discounts
If you have negotiated a special ongoing price, this is the price that appears automatically on our invoices to you.
Please note that at this stage, customers who receive special prices/discounts will not be able to see these prices when they login to our online store. Instead they will see the regular wholseale price. If your normally receive a special price/discount, you can still order online, and we will adjust the invoice accordingly before we send it to you.
Goods & Services Tax (GST)
Prices quoted on this website do NOT include GST. GST will be added to your order total at the checkout. This is the same for retail and wholesale customers/prices.
Payment methods
1) On account
(You must be an approved wholesale customer, and have a credit account with us. How to apply; Terms of Credit Accounts)
2) Direct deposit
Transfer an invoice or account payment into our bank account, as follows: Bank, Account Name, BSB, Account Number. If you are waiting for an order please fax the receipt information and we will ship your order immediately.
3) Credit card by phone/fax
Phone us on 02 6652 6029, or print and complete the credit card authorisation form and fax it through on 02 6652 7676. We accept credit card payment by Visa, Mastercard, and Bankcard. If you are waiting for an order please fax the receipt information and we will ship your order immediately.
Minimum order value
Our minimum order is $40.00, not including shipping. This applies to retail and wholesale orders.
Minium order quantity
Minimum purchase quantities apply to some items. This is stated in the product description.
Secure Online Payment
We do not permit real-time credit card payments on our website (see payment methods) , so your payment is completely secure. In the future we may offer online payment by credit card, and this will use a secure server.
Cookies
Our website uses session management/variables, to track the items in your shopping cart as you navigate our website. This uses cookies on our server, or if cookies are not available, uses an identifier in the URL. This lasts only for the duration of your visit.
If you tick a box on our website to remember your login details, our server will place a cookie on your browser. You need to have cookies enabled for this to work.
Catalogue
Account holders will receive regular catalogues in the mail. Please contact us if you would like us to send you a catalogue, or if you do not wish to receive regular catalogues. Our online store lists all products in the catalogue, at up-to-date prices.
Order status
You can check the status of your online order here. For phone/fax orders please call us. If it has already been shipped we can tell you the shipping company and the consignment note number so you can track the parcel.
Request a statement
Contact us to request a statement - we can email or fax you a copy.
Return of goods
We will accept the return of undamaged goods in new condition within three weeks, provided you notify us first as to the reason. Please return goods by general post. Also see warranty information.
Warranty
All our products have a warranty period of... Pool pumps come with a two year warranty. Return of goods under warranty is limited to the replacement of defective goods and does not extend to any consequent damage or loss caused by the goods or late delivery of the goods. Faulty goods should be returned by general post. Return postage will be credited to your account upon receipt of the goods.
Backorders
We will accept backorders for goods not in stock. However we reserve the right to cancel backorders under $20.00.
Shipping
Orders under 5kg are normally dispatched by by air for speedy next day delivery. All orders under 3kg are $10.00, over 3kg and under 5kg are $17.00. Orders over 5kg are normally sent by road, but can be split and sent by air if needed in a hurry. The price of delivery by road depends on the weight of the parcel, and the distance. All order placed before 3pm are dispatched the same day.

Our trading hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm.
